Today's Influence Ads: Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget Pushes To Fix Debt

In part of an ongoing campaign to influence the fiscal cliff considerations, The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget ran another in its series of ads asking Congress to fix the debt.

Friday's spot shows a mother and a farmer, reading "Whether you're raising kids or crops, we all know its time to fix the debt."

Two chinese environmentalists, Chen Faqing and Wu Lihong, took out a new ad today calling on both China and the U.S. to ratify the conventions reducing greenhouse gas emissions at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change this week.

The American Technion Society has a new spot thanking Technion graduates for their work on Israel's Iron Dome, and Childfund International also put out a new ad advocating for safe water sources. The Corporate Angel Network, a public charity that provides free travel to treatment for cancer patients, took out a new ad thanking the corporations who help provide seats on airlines.

Those with continuing ads, per Kantar Media's Washington Eye, include: America's Natural Gas Alliance, the American Petroleum Institute, Boeing, BP, Committee for a Federal Budget, the Consumer Electronics Association, Global Security Newswire, Hologic, the International Council of Shopping Centers, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, the Society for Human Resource Management, United Technologies, Wellpoint, WETA-TV, Whirlpool and WTOP-Radio.
