Pelosi Signals Announcement Wednesday Morning

Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday sidestepped the question of whether she'll remain the top House Democrat, but indicated she'll make an announcement Wednesday morning.

Appearing at a news conference with newly elected House Democrats, Pelosi responded to a reporter’s question, “While I love you dearly, I thought I would talk to my own Caucus before I give that information to you.”

The House Democratic Caucus is set to gather behind closed doors at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

“I’ll see you 10 o’clock Wednesday,” said Pelosi, indicating that’s when she plans to make public her plans.
