Oxfam Highlights the Lame in Lame Duck

Oxfam America is taking a particularly punny approach to the lame duck session, urging lawmakers not to "duck fiscal reality" in a new ad featuring a giant (and patriotic) rubber duckie over the Capitol.

The ad, out today, emphasizes the importance of America's role in fighting poverty around the world. Its tagline is simple: "Cutting foreign aid to balance the budget? That's just lame."

The group hinted to the Alley that they're planning a duck-themed event outside the Capitol next week, but details are yet to come.

They're still getting all their ducks in a row, so to speak.
