The education-focused Penn Hill Group is expanding its federal relations team, the firm announced Thursday.Tom Corwin, previously of the Department of Education, will advise the group on executive branch budgets and policies. Kara Marchione, a former Hill staffer, will serve as a vice president and focus on early education issues for the firm. Elizabeth Cohen will now assist operations. Penn Hill Group also announced new partnerships with two consultants, Cheryl Sattler and Anna Suarez.
Elsewhere in the lobbying world, Sarah Hubbart joined the government relations team at Michael Torrey Associates. Hubbart, who served as communications director for the Animal Agriculture Alliance, will serve as a manager of federal affairs for the firm.
David R. Blask, a senior pension consultant at Lincoln Investment Planning, will take over as president of the National Tax Sheltered Accounts Association, the group announced Thursday.
Cherreka Montgomery, previously of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the State Department, joined SAP National Security Services, the firm announced today. Montgomery will serve as a national vice president for corporate development.
