Allen West's New Comms Director

By now you probably know that Rep. Allen West has conceded to Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy. So what's to become of his staff?

Well, taking Angela Melvin's place as director of communications is Michele Hickford, who will be assuming Melvin's duties through the end of West's term.

While we're not sure that this is the shortest Hill job ever, it certainly isn't that long. Hickford most recently served as West's director of outreach in Florida.
