Good morning, Alley readers. Here's a look at what we're perusing today.

Ten California Republicans endorsed Democratic Rep. Howard Berman who's running against fellow Democratic Rep. Brad Sherman, Roll Call reports.

JPMorgan Chase's Jamie Dimon said he wouldn't mind paying 39.6 percent in taxes in exchange for a more equitable society, The Hill reports.

Two new polls are out in the Virginia Senate race. One shows Democrat Tim Kaine with a seven-point lead over Republican George Allen; the other shows a tie, our Hotline On Call colleagues report.

Polls are also out in the Florida, Ohio and Wisconsin Senate races. Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson is leading GOP Rep. Connie Mack by double digits in the Sunshine State. In the Buckeye State, Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown also has a double digit-lead over Republican rival Josh Mandel. Democratic Rep. Tammy Baldwin is statistically tied with former Gov. Tommy Thompson.
