New Hires at Wine + Spirit Wholesalers, EU Expert Joins Covington
Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America announced today that it has hired Jeffrey Solsby as vice president, communications & public affairs and Ashley Durkin as director of communications. The group intends to revamp its internal communications, issues advocacy, rapid response, events and membership marketing, digital communications and media relations efforts.
Paul Adamson is joining Covington & Burling as senior policy adviser based in Brussels, the firm announced today. Adamson did a stint in the European Parliament, afterward starting a career in public affairs. He was awarded the Order of the British Empire "for services to promoting understanding of the European Union" in 2012.
