Luntz Helps NHL With Lockout Spin
Top GOP strategist Frank Luntz is getting into the hockey game, so to speak. His firm Luntz Global is helping the National Hockey League figure out how to shape its message as a players lockout has taken hold.
Deadspin reports Luntz personally "greeted the 30 attendees who had been gathered to discuss how the NHL can better present its case" at a focus group on Friday in Bethesda, Md.
Luntz tweeted a response to Deadspin's report, calling it an "attempt to discredit NHL efforts to reach an agreement [with] players." He also tweeted this:
