Flanagan Promoted at National Restaurant Association

The National Restaurant Association's Brendan Flanagan has been promoted to vice president of state and local affairs, the group announced today. 

Flanagan, who spent the past 11 years in the association's policy and government affairs department, also served as a legislative aide to former Rep. Wayne Gilchrest of Maryland. 

Before joining the association in 2001, he was director of government relations for the International Franchise Association.
