Exclusive: Epplin Joins Gephardt Government Affairs
Rob Epplin, former legislative director to Maine Republican Sen. Susan Collins and a veteran GOP staffer, is joining Gephardt Government Affairs as vice president, a firm spokeswoman tells the Alley.
Epplin will advise clients on budget and tax issues as well as Senate procedure.
Before his role in Collins' office, Epplin served as a professional staffer at the Senate Finance Committee. Between 1997 and 2009, he also handled tax and trade issues in the office of former Sen. Gordon Smith, R-Oregon.
Epplin has also served as an analyst at the Office of Management and Budget and as an aide in the Office of the Secretary at the Department of Education under Lamar Alexander.
