Bell, Sims Launch Chamber Hill Strategies

Chamber Hill Strategies, a new government affairs consulting company that will focus on health care and tax policy, launched today, the firm announced.

The firm's co-founders are Jennifer Bell and Michaela Sims who have dozens of years of Hill and policy experience combined.

Bell served as health policy adviser for Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley on the Senate Finance Committee and as an adviser to Sen. John Thune when he was in the House. Sims served as senior legislative director and counsel for former Nebraska Sen. Bob Kerrey and current Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson.

In addition to consulting, Chamber Hill Strategies will provide a daily email report that will include "difficult-to-find federal government announcements and little-reported analytical pieces from think tanks, stakeholders and policy influencers," the firm said in a statement.

Chamber Hill Strategies' clients include: Sanford Health, Independence Medical, Covenant HealthCare and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, according to a Chamber Hill spokesman.
