Which Lawmakers Attended Scientology's Washington HQ Opening?

For the grand opening of its national affairs HQ on Wednesday, the Church of Scientology brought in a few members of Congress to help them celebrate.

Reps. Dan Burton, R-Ind., Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, and Danny Davis, D-Ill, were in attendance and offered remarks, according to a release from the church. Large screens were set up outside of the building, projecting a live feed of speakers, and a large red, white and blue ribbon adorned the exterior.

The building, at located at the Fraser Mansion in Dupont Circle, will serve as the headquarters for the church's social and humanitarian initiatives, according to the release.
