Today's Influence Ads: Northern Dynasty Minerals on Pebble Mine

Northern Dynasty Minerals has a new ad today blasting the Environmental Protection Agency's report assessing mining in Bristol Bay, Ala., as being a "premature, rushed, and error-filled document." The company has been pushing for the EPA to stop its watershed assessment of the Pebble Mine, particularly before a formal development plan has been submitted.

The American Podiatric Medical Association's new ad touts podiatrists as potentially helping save the health care system billions of dollars by how it treats diabetics. And the American Petroleum Institute, American Sugar Alliance, Dassault Systemes, Intel and National Apartment Association and Multi Housing Council also have new ads today.

Those with continuing ads, per Kantar Media's Washington Eye, include: Altria, America's Natural Gas Alliance, American Gas Association, American Petroleum Institute, Association of American Railroads, AT&T, BP, Broadband for America, C-SPAN, Fluor Corporation, General Motors, Generic Pharmaceutical Association, Musicians On Call, National Electrical Contractors Association, National Restaurant Association and U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
