Today's Influence Ads: Mars Underscores Jobs

Candy company Mars has a new ad today that highlights the firm's 25,500 employees and 54 facilities. "Behind our great brands are great American jobs," the headline reads.

Other groups out with new ads today are: American Council of Life Insurers, Boeing, Chevron, Chinese American Alliance of the United States, CNN, Credit Union National Association, Economy in Crisis, Huntington Ingalls Industries, Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance, New England Anti-Vivisection and United Technologies.

Those with continuing ads, per Kantar Media's Washington Eye, include: Altria, American Cancer Society, American Petroleum Institute (2 ads), American Sugar Alliance, Army Test and Evaluation Command, Boeing Company, BP, Chevron, CME Group, McDonald's, Musicians on Call, Northern Dynasty Minerals, Nuclear Energy Institute (3 ads), Pfizer, PhRMA, Renewable Fuels Association, Research America, United Soybean Board (2 ads), Wellpoint
