New Hires: Hite Joining Chamber; AFCEA Taps Schneider

Matthew Hite, senior counsel to Environment and Public Affairs Committee ranking member Sen. James Inhofe, is leaving to join the Chamber of Commerce, Hite said in an email to the Alley.

Hite starts Oct. 2 at the Chamber, where he'll be part of the Environment, Technology and Regulatory Affairs Division serving as policy counsel for the Environment and Agriculture Committee. His last day with the committee will be Oct. 1.

Paul Schneider, a principal at The Chertoff Group, has been selected as the chairman of the homeland security committee at Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association. Schneider will stay in his role at The Chertoff Group.
