Kittens Playing At the Capitol! Sort Of.

kitties.jpgIt's recess and many members are on the campaign trail or fundraising. But Republicans and Democrats alike can agree on one thing: watching kittens play on cardboard model of the U.S. Capitol is adorable. (Insert your running-Congress-is-like-herding-cats joke here.)

The Washington Animal League has partnered with Animal Planet to bring this live kitten cam to promote the channel's premiere of the show "Too Cute." Today's video from the shelter showcases kittens playing on a cardboard model of the People's House. It's just one more piece of evidence showing cats' ever-growing influence in politics.
