Today's Influence Ads: Sugar Alliance On Farm Bill

The American Sugar Alliance has a new ad today calling for passage of a farm bill that includes renewing the U.S. Sugar Program, which the alliance casts as a "no-cost" policy. The program tracks sugar imports and maintains minimum prices for sugar.

The National Apartment Association and National Multi Housing Council's new ad touts new apartment construction as generating news jobs, and the National Electrical Contractors Association's new ad calls for a Congress that supports limited government regulation and lower taxes for contractors.

Fluor Corporation, AT&T, Broadband for America and American Petroleum Institute also have new ads out today.

Those with continuing ads, per Kantar Media's Washington Eye, include: America's Natural Gas Alliance, American Gas Association, American Petroleum Institute, BP, Chevron, Distilled Spirits Council, General Motors and the Generic Pharmaceutical Association.
