News Roundup: 4 GOP Lawmakers Probing DOJ Over Plane Use

Good morning, everyone. Here's the news.

Four Republican lawmakers are asking questions about the use of FBI planes by top Justice Department officials, Roll Call reports. The group of lawmakers includes Sens. Chuck Grassley, Kay Bailey Hutchison and Reps. Lamar Smith and Frank Wolf.

A report on Congress' Twitter followers shows that a sizable percentage of lawmakers' followers are phony, The Hill reports.

The GOP moved up its official nomination of Mitt Romney to Monday, partly out of concern that Ron Paul's delegates might cause upheaval and partly because of a tropical storm approaching Florida, the AP reports.
