New Mental Health America CEO, Toyota Creates Post For Ex-House Science Committee Staffer

Hilary Cain will become Toyota's national manager of technology and innovation policy, a new position the company created for Cain.

Cain has been at the House Science, Space and Technology Committee since November 2008. In May 2010, Cain became the Democratic staff director of the technology and innovation subcommittee. Prior to that, she was the legislative director for former Rep. Brian Baird, D-Wash., and from 2003 to 2005, she served as the House Ways and Means counsel for Rep. Lloyd Doggett, D-Texas.

For Toyota, Cain will report to Stephen Ciccone, the group vice president of government affairs.

Also, Mental Health America has named Wayne Lindstrom as its new CEO and president.

Lindstrom replaces David Shern, who retired. Prior to joining Mental Health America, Lindstrom served as the CEO of Crossroads, an Ohio community-based behavioral health care organization. Lindstrom also founded consulting firm SocioTech.
