Loughner Pleads Guilty to Tucson Shooting--Report

Jared Lee Loughner pleaded guilty to going on a shooting rampage in Tucson, Ariz., in January 2011 that left six people dead and seriously injured then-Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, the Associated Press reported Tuesday.

Loughner, who pleaded guilty as part of a deal to avoid the death penalty, is expected to be sentenced to life in prison, the AP reported.
