DDC Advocacy Names Two New Executives

Lobbying consulting firm DDC Advocacy announced Friday two executive promotions to oversee client outreach and advocacy campaign strategy.

DDCA partner Tom Benjamin will take the lead on the company's new business initiatives, including new client acquisition. Partner Michael Shue will become the senior vice president of campaign services and oversee the company's campaign strategists.

Benjamin has been with DDCA for seven years, working to direct advocacy campaigns in areas such as agriculture, energy, health care and transportation. Previously, Benjamin was executive vice president for Direct Impact Company, a grassroots campaign organization company.

Shue has worked at DDCA as a campaign strategist, focusing on issues such as financial services, defense and consumer retail products. Before DDCA, Shue worked for DCI Group and  as an associate for Americans for Tax Reform. He also served as a National Republican Senatorial Committee political operative during Republican Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski's 2004 run.
