The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee launched automated phone calls in districts throughout the country today, linking 50 incumbents or Republican candidates to Ryan's "Path to Prosperity" budget, particularly how it would affect Medicare.

The calls state that the Republican running for office "voted for a budget that would end Medicare and now the budget's architect, Paul Ryan, is the Republican candidate for Vice President."

In response to the new strategy, National Republican Congressional Committee spokeswoman Andrea Bozek said in a statement that "for the last two years Democrats have tried to distract from ObamaCare's drastic cuts to Medicare and their plan to put a board of unelected bureaucrats in between seniors and their doctors."
