The former chairman of the Republican National Committee and chairman of American Crossroads will take the helm of the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity.

Mike Duncan is ACCCE's new CEO, effective Sept. 10, the Alley has learned.

Duncan was RNC chair until 2009, and is the founding chair of American Crossroads.

Past president Steve Miller announced in February that he'd retire this year after 17 years with ACCCE. In a letter he had written to board members, Miller said he wanted to spend more time with his sons.
