View from the Capitol: Meditating On the Hill
The weather was temperate on the Hill Thursday morning, which was lucky for the hundreds of Falun Gong followers who sat on the West Lawn, meditating.
Their presence marked the start of a day-long protest featuring speakers, a march and a candle-light vigil, calling attention to the treatment of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
