Today's Influence Ads: Food Safety and the Women of Washington

Among the new ads today is one from Make Our Food Safe urging the president to implement the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act. The new act was signed into to law by the president over a year ago to reform America's food system.

National Journal has an ad out today promoting Women 2020, an event focused on the roll of women in reshaping the economy and politics. House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Texas Republican Sen. Kay Bailey and senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett will be feature guests at the event.

Other new ads include: Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, Dress for Success, Economy in Crisis, Edison Electric Institute and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, First Focus Campaign for Children and National Corn Growers Association.

Those with continuing ads include: Alliance for Savings and Investment, America's Life Insurance Industry, Chevron, Dyncorp International, Goldman Sachs, Honda, Livestrong, Lockheed Martin (which has three), Meads International, United Soybean Board ET AL (which has two) and Washington Kastle Charity Classic.
