News Roundup: Romney's Taxes? What About Members' Taxes?

Good morning, everyone. Here are the headlines.

McClatchy Newspapers zings members of Congress who hold Mitt Romney to a different than they hold themselves on releasing personal tax information. BONUS item: my colleague Nancy Cook investigates Washington's new favorite parlor game, Guessing What's In Mitt Romney's Taxes.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee took in what it's calling a record $18.1 million in the period from April to June, Politico reports.

The Hill reports members have switched rhetorical positions, with Republicans now accusing Democrats of holding the nation "hostage" over the looming tax-cut expiration. It was Democrats who levied the same charge against Republicans during the debt-ceiling fight last year.
