News Roundup: Cheney to Talk to House GOP Whip Team

Former Vice President Dick Cheney will speak to the House Republican whip team tonight about the impending Defense Department cuts, Roll Call reports.

Yahoo's new CEO, formerly of Google, Marissa Mayer, donated $2,500 to President Obama on two occasions and $30,800 to the Democratic National Committee, the Daily Caller reports. She also contributed $35,800 to the Obama Victory Fund in the second quarter of 2011, the DC reports.

Democratic Senators will make a second attempt on Tuesday to move the DISCLOSE Act along after a long night of debate, The Hill reports
