New Hire at Chertoff Group, SNR Denton Promotion

The Chertoff Group has hired on Prescott Winter to be the managing director of its D.C. office.

Winter most recently was Hewlett Packard's chief technology officer for Public Sector Security. He also spent more than 30 years at the National Security Agency, including serving as the agency's chief information officer.

SNR Denton has named Bruce Merlin Fried as the managing partner for the firm's D.C. office. Fried was a partner with the firm's health care practice, and succeeds Fred McClure, who left to take a post as the executive director of the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Foundation.
