Chris Frates On Power, People And Influence From Capitol Hill To K Street

Heather and Tony Podesta Take The Bus

busshelter.jpgIf you find yourself waiting for a bus at 13th and H Streets, NW, you'll likely see Heather and Tony Podesta hanging out there, too.

More specifically, the lobbying power duo appear on a bus shelter ad as part of the National Museum of Women in the Arts' 25 Art Lovers campaign, celebrating the museum's 25th anniversary.

Heather Podesta, of Heather Podesta+Partners, and Tony Podesta, of The Podesta Group, are numbers seven and eight on the list of 25.

The bus shelter ad even gives us a handy bio sheet on the power couple. For occupation, it says, "His and Her Government Relations Firms." Their great loves? "Competition, One Another, Contemporary Art, NMWA."

The two are big art patrons, and donated Elizabeth Turk sculptures to the museum.

Others on the list of 25 include D.C.-area CBS news anchor Andrea Roane, Top Chef contestant Carla Hall and musician Trevor Young.
