Harris Corp. Names New VP

Tania Hanna will be Harris Corp.'s new vice president of government relations, where she will oversee the company's relationships with Congress, the Executive Branch and the defense industry in D.C.

She's taking over for Peter Challan, who will be the new vice president of industry-specific programs for the Harris Corp.'s Mission Critical Network businesses.

Hanna takes the new position after most recently serving as vice president of policy and legislative affairs. Prior to joining the company in 2003, she was a senior attorney with the Federal Communications Commission and a senior associate with a D.C.-based law firm.
