DCCC Raises $2.3M After Health Care Ruling

Congressional Republicans aren't the only ones raising money on the back of last week's Supreme Court health care ruling.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced Tuesday that it's raised $2.3 million since the ruling, as nearly 65,000 donations poured in. Saturday was "the single biggest grassroots' fundraising day in DCCC history," according to a statement. The average contribution was $35.

Just last week the DCCC announced it hit an online fundraising record after it pulled in $580,000 thanks to an email blast sent from President Barack Obama to supporters.
