Common Cause VP Moves To UMUC
Common Cause is losing its vice president of legislative affairs. Sarah Dufendach is leaving her post after eight years to take a job at University of Maryland University College, she wrote in an email to colleagues on Tuesday.
Dufendach will begin in August as UMUC's executive director of federal relations, where she will establish a new federal relations program and open a Washington office. She is also the former chief of staff to past Democratic Whip David Bonior.
