Today's Influence Ads: Law of the Sea and Drug Shortages

The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists has a new ad praising Congress for approving a Federal Drug Administration bill that addresses drug shortages. CQ Roll Call has an ad for the Congressional Challenge, as part of the Sept. 9 Nation's Triathlon.

A new ad from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce calling for the Senate to ratify the Law of the Sea Treaty, which grants American sovereignty on resources within hundreds of miles of U.S. shores. And the family of Zack Shahin has an ad calling for the release of the U.S. Citizen who has been detained in Dubai since 2008.

Lockheed Martin, Pew Charitable Trusts, Research America and Triwest Healthcare Alliance also have new ads out today, per Kantar Media's Washington Eye.

Those with continuing ads include: American College of Rheumatology, American Heart Association, American Lung Association, American Public Transportation Association, American Television Alliance, CTIA (which has two), Goldman Sachs, Lockheed Martin (which has three), Meads International,Northrop Grumman, Politico (which has two),Triwest Healthcare Alliance (which has two), United Healthcare, U.S. Chamber of Commerce and WTOP.
