Today's Influence Ads: EU On Pensions and Hyundai's Fuel Effiency

New ads today include one from the Delegation of the European Union to the United States of America pushing the U.S. to explore the EU's approach to pensions and long-term healthcare for European senior citizens.

Hyundai's new ad touts the car company as the most fuel-efficient in the nation, predicting that its fleet will meet 2020 federal energy standards by 2015. And The New York Times has an ad about its Schools for Tomorrow Conference, which will focus on the roles of government, the private sector and parents in nurturing good teachers.

Over the weekend, Target and Eugene D. Ruth, a retired school teacher, had ads.

Those with continuing ads include: American Lung Association, Army Test and Evaluation Command, Center for National Policy, CQ Roll Call, Finmeccanica, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase & Co., Lockheed Martin, Ogilvy, Triwest Healthcare Alliance (which has two), United Healthcare, Volkswagen and WTOP.
