Pence Endorses Quayle

Indiana Republican Rep. Mike Pence endorsed Arizona Republican Rep. Ben Quayle against his primary challenger, Rep. David Schweikert. The endorsement from Pence, a social and fiscal Republican, comes the same week Quayle and Schweikert tried to out-conservative each other on immigration

The announcement from Pence:

I have known Ben Quayle since he was a young man and have a tremendous amount of respect for him.  I proudly supported him in 2010 and know he'll continue to be a great conservative voice for Arizona in Washington, D.C.

Correction: An earlier version of this post mistakenly referred to Ben Quayle as Dan Quayle. The post has been corrected and updated. The Alley regrets the error.
