Justin Daly, a top Republican financial services staffer turned lobbyist, has opened his own lobbying shop, Daly Consulting Group.
Launched in May, the firm has signed up such blue chip clients as the Investment Company Institute, PricewaterhouseCoopers, The Travelers Companies, Knight Capital Group, Citadel Investment Group, and Rapid Ratings.
A financial services veteran, Daly worked as a senior counsel for House Financial Services Committee Chairman Mike Oxley and Senate Banking Committee Chairman Richard Shelby. He then served as counsel to SEC Commissioner Kathleen Casey. Most recently, he was a lobbyist with Ogilvy.
"This new platform allows me to focus exclusively on financial services policy issues -- banking, securities and insurance -- and also enjoy the entrepreneurial aspects of running your own firm," Daly told the Alley.
