Congress Plans Response To Supreme Court Health Care Ruling

Twenty-four hours away from the expected Supreme Court ruling on health care, and members of Congress spent Wednesday morning preparing how, and where, they'll respond if the decision comes down on Thursday.

Reps. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash. and Tom Price, R-Ga., will lead the GOP response on TV and radio, according to a source who was in the room when leadership held a closed-door meeting on Wednesday.

For the Democrats, the co-chairs of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Reps. Raúl Grijalva, D-Ariz., and Keith Ellison, D-Minn., are meeting on the steps of the Supreme Court after the decision is announced, according to a news release from the group.

Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, reasserted to reporters on Wednesday, "If the Court does not strike down the entire law, the House will move to repeal what's left of it."
