Today's Influence Ads: NAM Says Ex-Im Bank 'All About Jobs'

The National Association of Manufacturers has a new ad today urging Congress to extend the U.S. Export-Import Bank's lending authority before it expires at month's end, according to a compilation of print influence ads by Kantar Media's Campaign Media Analysis Group. "U.S. business overwhelmingly supports reauthorization of Ex-Im Bank," the ad says. "There are thousands of jobs at stake with no cost to taxpayers. Congress needs to act now."

As today's Washington Eye shows, the American Hospital Association, Bank of America, Boeing, Business Roundtable, Fidelity, Grant Thornton, Life Technologies, Lockheed Martin, MedicAlert Foundation, Obesity Action Coalition, Pharmaceutical Care Management Association, Raytheon and Women in Government Relations have new ads or had new ads over the weekend.

Others with ads today are the American Beverage Association, American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, Chevron, CTIA, CVS Caremark, the European Union Delegation to the USA, Goldman Sachs, U.S. Chamber of Commerce/GFI Group, the Nuclear Energy Institute, Oshkosh Defense, Taste of the South, TriWest Healthcare Alliance, United Healthcare and WTOP.
