Today's Influence Ads: IAVA Reaches Out to Veterans

Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America has a new ad today encouraging veterans of the two wars to join the organization, according to a compilation of print influence ads by Kantar Media's Campaign Media Analysis Group. "99% of Americans have seen combat on TV," the ad says. "1% of Americans have seen combat in Iraq or Afghanistan. We know where you're coming from. We've got your back."

As today's Washington Eye shows, ATK, Chevron, Citigroup, Consumers Union, Lockheed Martin, Meads International, Tencate and Univision have new ads today or had new ads over the weekend.

Others with ads are Bank of America, CIT Group, CTIA, Goldman Sachs, Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mars, Nuclear Energy Institute, Ogilvy, Pfizer, Southern Company, the Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure, Volkswagen and WTOP.
