Today's Influence Ads: Environmental Groups Say No to Arctic Drilling

A group of environmental organizations, including the Sierra Club and the Alaska Wilderness League, has a new ad out today calling on President Obama to prevent oil companies from drilling in the Arctic, according to a compilation of print influence ads by Kantar Media's Campaign Media Analysis Group. "President Obama, time is running out," the ad says. "Save America's Arctic."

As today's Washington Eye shows, the Air Line Pilots Association, Lockheed Martin, the National Retail Federation, the Partnership for a Drug Free America, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, Pfizer and the Mothers Project have new ads or had new ads over the weekend.

Others with ads today are the American Beverage Association, Chevron, CIT Group, Finmeccanica, Goldman Sachs, the Nuclear Energy Institute, Ogilvy, Pepco, the Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure, TriWest Healthcare Alliance, Volkswagen and WTOP.
