This Week's Top GOP Congressional Events

Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) is hosting a lunch discussion of his new book "The Debt Bomb" in New York this afternoon that will benefit TACPAC, which stands for the Truth, Accountability and Courage Political Action Committee. The ask is $5,000 for hosts, $2,500 for sponsors and $1,000 for attendees.

Also happening this week is a PAC meet-and-greet in honor of the first round of the National Republican Congressional Committee's Young Gun candidates. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.), Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and Reps. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Lynn Westmoreland (R-Ga.) are scheduled to attend the event, which is taking place on Thursday at the Capitol Hill Club.

The Young Gun candidates are Jesse Kelly of Arizona; Ricky Gill, David Valadao and Tony Strickland of California; Jason Plummer of Illinois; Jackie Walorski of Indiana; Andy Barr of Kentucky; Richard Tisei of Massachusetts; Randy Altschuler and Matt Doheny of New York; Keith Rothfus of Pennsylvania; and Mia Love of Utah.
