Members, Staffers Team Up for Charity Event Tonight

More than 20 members of Congress and 100 staffers are set to participate in tonight's Home Runs for Horton's Kids--a charity event supporting Horton's Kids, which provides educational and nutritional services to children in Anacostia. The event, which takes place tonight from 5 to 9 p.m. at Nationals Park, includes batting practice and a silent auction.

Members scheduled to attend are Reps. Joe Barton (R-Texas), Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), Michael Burgess (R-Texas), Howard Coble (R-N.C.), John Conyers (D-Mich.), Mark Critz (D-Pa.), Danny Davis (D-Ill.), Renee Ellmers (R-N.C.), Chaka Fattah (D-Pa.), William Keating (D-Mass.), Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.), Jim McGovern (D-Mass.), Mike McIntyre (D-N.C.), Jared Polis (D-Colo.), Cedric Richmond (D-La.), John Shimkus (R-Ill.), Michael Turner (R-Ohio), Timothy Bishop (D-N.Y.), Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) and Joe Baca (D-Calif.) and Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.).
