Today's the Day for Lobbying Revenue

It's deadline day, as lobbying firms have to file their first quarter federal lobbying revenue. Some numbers were ready yesterday, but others are still rolling in. Preliminary numbers show mixed results on K Street with some firms up over this time last year and others seeing drops.

Dutko Grayling had $2.54 million in lobbying revenue the first quarter of 2012, compared to $3.5 million in the first quarter of 2011 and $2.53 million in the fourth quarter of 2011.

Alston & Bird saw $3.29 million this quarter, versus $3.14 million in 2011's first quarter and $3.48 million in 2011's last quarter.

Mehlman Vogel Castagnetti had $3.26 million in the first quarter of 2012, compared to $2.92 million in the first quarter of 2011 and $3.28 million in the final quarter of 2011.

The Podesta Group had $6.55 million in lobbying revenue this quarter, compared to $6.99 million in the first quarter of 2011 and $6.83 million in the last quarter of 2011.

Wexler & Walker had $2.32 million in lobbying revenue the first quarter of 2012. Its revenue was $2.75 million for the first quarter of 2011 and $2.35 million in the fourth quarter of 2011.

Cassidy & Associates saw $4.1 million in revenue in 2012's first quarter. The firm brought in $5.50 million the first quarter of 2011 and $4.91 million in the last quarter of 2011.

Akin Gump had $7.87 million in the first quarter of 2012, compared to $8.70 million in the first quarter of 2011 and $10.05 million in the fourth quarter of 2011.
