Today's Influence Ads: Chamber Calls for Ex-Im Reauthorization

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has a new ad out today calling for the reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank, arguing that American jobs will be lost to other countries that do provide export financing if the bank's authorization ends, according to a compilation of print influence ads by Kantar Media's Campaign Media Analysis Group. "Ex-Im plays a vital role leveling the financial playing field for U.S. exporters," the ad says. "Shutting Ex-Im would mean unilateral disarmament - and shipping American jobs overseas."

As today's Washington Eye shows, Accenture, the American Veterinary Medical Association, Citigroup, the David Horowitz Freedom Center, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the National Association of Letter Carriers and TriWest Healthcare Alliance have news ads today.

Others with ads today are Altria, the Alzheimer's Association, America's Life Insurance Industry, the American Beverage Association, American Television Alliance, Chevron, CTIA, DynCorp International, Goldman Sachs, Lockheed Martin, the Nuclear Energy Institute, Partnership for a Drug Free America, United Technologies, WellPoint and WTOP.
