Scoop: Senior Wexler & Walker Officials to Launch New Firm

Wexler & Walker president Tim Hannegan and senior vice president Daniella Landau are leaving the firm to hang their own shingle. The Democrats will open Hannegan | Landau Advocacy on May 1, Hannegan told the Alley

"After 13 years under the tutelage of first the legendary Anne Wexler and then consummate pro Dale Snape, I have decided that the time is now right for me to build my own firm.  Along with my longtime friend and colleague Daniella Landau, I hope to epitomize the integrity, high energy, and hard work that is the Anne Wexler legacy in this town," Hannegan said.

The break up seems amicable. The firm put out a statement wishing the duo well saying, "We look forward to partnering with them to ensure our clients are well served and in working with them on new opportunities."

Hannegan, the grandson of former DNC chairman Robert E. Hannegan is a former senior GAO official and Landau is a K Street vet having worked in a number of influence jobs including as American Airlines' managing director of government affairs.
