Direct Impact Acquires Crowdverb

Direct Impact, a communications firm focusing on grassroots outreach, has acquired Crowdverb, a digital advocacy shop based in Seattle. Crowdverb, which was founded last year and employs online strategies to mobilize grassroots activists, will complement the more traditional public affairs services Direct Impact offers, according to DI, which itself is a subsidiary of Burson-Marsteller
