Today's Influence Ads: Groups Praise Senators for RESTORE Act

A group of wildlife and environmental groups has a new ad out today thanking the 76 senators who voted in favor of passing the RESTORE Act as an amendment to the transportation bill. "The RESTORE Act will help repair and strengthen the environment, communities and businesses in the Gulf still suffering nearly two years after the unprecedented Gulf oil disaster," the ad from the National Wildlife Federation, Environmental Defense Fund, National Audubon Society, Oxfam America and Ocean Conservancy says, according to a compilation of print influence ads by Kantar Media's Campaign Media Analysis Group.

As today's Washington Eye shows, Allstate, the American Heart Association, American Society of Radiologic Technologists, CVS Caremark, the Food Allergy Initiative, International Council of Shopping Centers, MSNBC, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, Walk for Hope, the World Wildlife Fund and WUSA also have new ads.

Others with ads are Altria, America's Life Insurance Industry, the American Beverage Association, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, American Gas Association, American Petroleum Institute, American Public Transportation Association, Boeing, Business Roundtable, Chevron, the Consumer Electronics Association, CTIA, Economy in Crisis, ExxonMobil, Goldman Sachs, Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women, Lockheed Martin, the National Beer Wholesalers Association, News Channel 8, the Nuclear Energy Institute, United Healthcare, United Technologies, WellPoint and WTOP.
