Today's Influence Ads: LiUNA Says Pass the Highway Bill

February 22, 2012
The Laborers' International Union of North America has a new ad out urging Congress to pass the transportation bills. "Politicians talk about 'building bridges.' How about fixing a few first? Maintaining our bridges and roads cannot take a back seat to partisan politics," the ad says, according to a compilation of print influence ads by Kantar Media's Campaign Media Analysis Group.

As today's Washington Eye shows, Bell Helicopter/Boeing, Goldman Sachs, Google, the Government of Ukraine and Macy's also have new ads. Others with ads today include the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers, CME Group, the Government of Georgia, the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women, Southern Company and WTOP.
