Today's Influence Ads: Contraception Debate Enters Ads

Here's a roundup of today's print influence ads, as compiled by Kantar Media's Campaign Media Analysis Group. As today's Washington Eye shows, Allstate, Dignity Health and the Transportation Construction Coalition have new ads. Other organizations with new ads: Truth Wins Out, which attacks GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich for opposing same-sex marriage when he has a troubled marital history; and Advocates for Youth and Catholics for Choice, which teamed up for an ad saying, "Insurance coverage for birth control shouldn't be controversial - it's common sense" and "It's 2012. Are we seriously talking about denying women birth control?"

AARP, the American Gas Association, the American Petroleum Institute, American Public Transportation Association, America's Natural Gas Alliance, BP, Children's Hospital Association, CTIA, the Credit Union National Association/America's Credit Unions, Embraer/Sierra Nevada Corporation, Goddard Gunster, Goldman Sachs, the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, the National Wildlife Federation, Neustar, Northrop Grumman, United Egg Producers/the Humane Society of the United States and Westinghouse also have ads.
