Judge Named President and CEO of PEGCC
"I am extremely proud of what we've accomplished in just a few years since the founding of the PEGCC and I look forward to building on that record of success," Judge said in a statement. "Our goal is to engage policymakers, the media, and the public in a national dialogue about how private equity and growth capital firms drive economic growth, strengthen and improve businesses, and provide financial security for millions of Americans."
PEGCC has recently been pushing back and touting the benefits of the private equity industry after recent attacks from both Republicans and Democrats over GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney's career at Bain Capital.
Before joining PEGCC in 2007, Judge was the senior vice president of government affairs for the Securities Industry Association (now known as the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association). He has worked as the deputy staff director of the House Committee on Banking, Finance and Urban Affairs.
